Incognito 2019

Each year begins with one of my favourite shows, Incognito in aid of the Jack and Jill foundation. Along with many other artists, I have submitted 3 postcard size works of art which are all available for sale for 50 euro. Not until the postcard is bought will the artist be revealed.

The exhibition will be held from 5-7 April 2019 at the Solomon Gallery Dublin and Lavit Gallery, Cork from 17-18 May 2019. You can preview all the postcard sized pieces of art online from today, Tuesday 5th March 2019. Go to www.incognito.ie to see if you can spot my 3 entries!

RDS 2018 8th-11th November

Not long to go now , the usual framing, varnishing , labelling etc etc.. it has come around so quickly again! 

I am showcasing lots of new work that has been in the pipeline since January this year. I like to launch new work at this and Edinburgh Art Fair .. remember when it’s gone it’s gone . I don’t do commissions so if you like something act fast! 

This year I will have one unique centrepiece ; 36” x 48” , it is of a face and that’s all I’m saying !..Come to Stand A110 to view! .. (below)

Art Source RDS 2018

November is nearing.. and RDS time again with Art Source and shortly after that with Edinburgh Art Fair. I’ve been working steadily for ages preparing for these two shows as I don’t like to rush to complete paintings or work under pressure. I love what I do so it’s not work!! Art Source dates are as follows November Friday 9th - Sunday 11th. 

Preview evening Thursday 8th.

Skibbereen, West Cork Creates

Yesterday was the opening of the exhibition in the O’Driscoll building off the Main Street. It is a large expansive warehouse space which lends a perfect backdrop to art works in all media, from a currach boat to paintings, sculpture, glass art etc etc. Three of my canvases are on display and more held in storage so if you are interested just e mail me or use the contact form on this website and I can send images. Monday - Saturday  11am - 5pm, on until 16 th September. 

WEST CORK CREATES 2018

Skibbereen this Saturday at 1pm is the official opening of West Cork Creates in the Uilinn building by Gemma Tipton. All welcome. 40+ selected West Cork Artists working in diverse media. To celebrate 2018 being the year of love (well.... lets hope so), I have branched out and am so excited to offer limited edition prints. These will be available online to buy with free postage and packaging to Ireland and the UK.

Just in time for Valentine's day, there are 50 limited edition prints of my painting "Heart of Gold" with an added detail of hand gilded gold leaf heart. Each print will be numbered individually, signed by myself and come with an authenticity certificate.  So if you are looking for something special for your significant other or even better show yourself some love, why not treat yourself to one of these limited edition prints! Edinburgh Art Fair

After a busy summer in Cork it's preparing for two shows in November , Art Source at the RDS in Ballsbridge, Dublin, and The Art Fair in Edinburgh.

West Cork Creates Skibbereen

Tomorrow is the opening of this yearly exhibition in Skibbereen, Co. Cork in the Southern part of Ireland. I'm looking forward to hopefully meeting all you fellow artists and online followers from this part of the country.  

Woodwork, ceramics, glass, photography as well as fine art are all represented at this exhibition.
